We Have A Drop Off Food Barrel
We have a donation barrel for food, toys, leashes, collars and cat
litter, disinfectant wipes, kitten food, puppy food, dishes, anything
that can help a animal. It is located at the Kroger store in Edgar
County. We at the ECHA and all the animals "Thank You so much
for your Donation. We couldn't do this with out your help!!!"

Welcome to our Home page
ECHA volunteers are scampering to keep up with the never-ending
rush of needy dogs, cats and their offspring. Of course, thats not new!
But we've planned several local fund raisers to help us help them.
Events will be updated with dates & times as plans are finalized.
We are desperately in need of funding for medical care and boarding
for hurt and stray pets. Without the help of local citizens and
businesses, those pets cannot be given a second chance at a long
and happy life. Good care is costly, but I hope that these words from
animal advocate, Jim Willis , will speak to your heart as they do mine,
{ I looked at the caged animals in the shelter.....the cast-offs of
human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread,
sadness and betrayal. And I was angry. " GOD", I said, "this is
terrible! Why don't you do something?" God was silent for
moment and then he spoke softly. "I have done something." he
replied, "I created you." Jim Willis 1999 }
